So very simple, but yet tasty

Ingredients (serves 4)

  • 500g fresh green king prawns
  • 1 teas grated lemon rind
  • 1 tbs lemon juice
  • 1 teas garlic, crushed
  • 2 teas lemon pepper seasoning
  • 2 tbs olive oil
  • 2 teas parsley, fresh or dried

Method

  1. Mix all together
  2. Toss in pan or on the barbeque until the prawns go pink and are cooked.
  3. Season with freshly ground pepper and salt

Notes

You can thread these onto soaked skewers if you are looking to serve them at a barbeque. Don't skip seasoning these. They require the salt to balance the lemon flavours

  • these look so good thanks 🙂

  • Funniest memory with prawns – my SIL bought a heap to give to my MIL, but when she arrived she had accidentally brought over the heads and tails -luckily she had put the “rubbish” in the freezer til bin night!

    • Luckily she is a sensible woman and put the shells in the freezer to avoid stench lol! So funny, hope it wasn’t a long drive back to get the actual prawns from the freezer 🙂
