  • 3 Chopped mangoes
  • 1 juice of lime
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tbsp caster sugar

Method

  1. Blend three chopped mangoes in a food processor or blender with the juice of one lime, 1 cup water and 1 tablespoon of caster sugar.
  2. Strain then pour into a metal tray and freeze for 3-4 hours.
  3. Remove from freezer and blend mixture again to a smooth slushy consistency. Serve immediately.
  4. Tip: For an adult treat add a shot of vodka or gin when blending just before serving.

  • Yes to a refreshing granita! Love mangoes. They’re my favourite fruit of all and i can imagine how refreshing this would be in summer when mangoes are in season. This could even be elevated by making it alcoholic for adults at parties too! Love the simple ingredients to make something delicious

  • With Mango season here this Mango granita would be a perfect frozen dessert on a hot day. Yum – made with fresh, ripe mangoes the icy texture would be incredibly satisfying. Sounds like a light and healthy treat that’s easy to make and perfect for cooling down on a summer afternoon
