Very mousse like dessert, sprinkle grated choc and serve with whipped cream

Ingredients (serves 4)

  • 1/2 Cup White Sugar
  • 1/3 Cup Cocoa Powder
  • 3 Tablespoons Cornflour
  • 2 Cups Milk
  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla Essence

Method

  1. In a microwave-safe bowl, whisk together the sugar, cocoa and cornflour. Whisk in the milk - a little at a time - so there are no lumps
  2. Cook for 3 minutes on high, Stir, then cook at 1 minute intervals, stirring between cooking times for 2 to 4 minutes, or until shiny and thick. Stir in vanilla.
  3. Place a piece of plastic wrap directly on the surface of the pudding to prevent a skin from forming, and chill in the refrigerator. Serve cold.

Notes

  • Oh would I really have to share this? I don’t think I’d dare to make if I was home alone, because I’m sure that I could polish off the whole thing … I wonder if anyone’s got a good recipe for “willpower”?
