These are perfect for little hands to grab and hold, and the kids love having their own pizza!

Ingredients (makes 6 small child size pizzas)

  • 300g Ingham's Diced chicken breast
  • 2 pieces Short cut bacon, diced into small pieces
  • 1/2 a small Onion, finely diced
  • 1/2 cup Canned (or fresh) Pineapple
  • 6 Ready made mini pizza bases
  • BBQ sauce
  • Tomato paste
  • Italian herbs
  • 1/2 TBS Oil
  • Mozzarella cheese, grated

  1. Heat the oil in a fry pan and cook the chicken pieces until almost cooked through. Add in the bacon and onion, and continue to cook until onion is soft and chicken is cooked.
  2. Spread even amounts of BBQ and tomato paste onto bases. Sprinkle lightly with cheese then top with chicken, onion and bacon mix, pineapple, more cheese and herbs.
  3. Cook in a pre heated (180 degree) oven for 20 minutes or until cheese is golden and melted

Notes... You can make these on pita bread, home made dough, or on shop bought dough if you wish. You can also use the same methos but make 2 large pizzas instead of 6 small.
  • A quick and delicious lunch, thanks!

  • I do something similar on wraps. So tasty

  • Great idea for a simple lunch. I love how they can be personalised to each persons taste so that everyone can enjoy.

  • Looks great, lovely recipe, thanks!

  • A nice simple recipe :)

  • For toddlers I use well drained crushed pineapple as they don’t have enough teeth to bite and chew larger and usually firmer pieces of pineapple and it also reduces the risk of choking

  • Great size! These would be also perfect for entertaining, Thanks good recipe.

  • these look so good to eat!

  • Thanks for the recipe. I like the topping.

  • Bigger kids could help with this, too.

  • These look absolutely delicious – the kids would love this!

  • Definitely a great one for school lunch boxes

  • A cute & delicious little idea, thanks.

  • We regularly have/make pizza. My son loves it on wholemeal pita bread and doesn’t like melted cheese so we added it on after.

  • We often make pizzas with the kids and it helps them to understand what they are eating and as they are putting what they want on it, they tend to enjoy it more
