Always a winner with the kids.
Ingredients (makes 2 pizza bases)
- 2 1/2 cups Flour
- 1 tsp Sugar
- 1 tsp Salt
- 7g Dry Yeast
- 2 Tbs Olive Oil
- 1 cup Warm Water
Method
- Pre-heat your oven to 200c. Mix flour, sugar and salt well. Then pour half of the flour mixture into a separate bowl, add yeast, stir well. To the yeast/flour mix add warm water and oil, mix well till smooth.
- Add remaining flour mix until fully incorporated. Cover with a tea towel and let rest for ten minutes.
- Lightly oil or flour your hands and spread the dough mixture onto a pizza dish. This recipe will make two thin crust pizzas or one deep pan. Add your preferred sauce and toppings. I let my kids design one each. Cook for 15-18 minutes at 200c
Notes
This is my kids most requested, I sometimes double the recipe and part cook the bases and add cooked cooled down toppings and wrap with cling wrap then aluminum foil. I throw them in the freezer and use them on a night i don't have time to cook.
