Quick and easy healthy mid week dinner. Really nice sauce!


Ingredients (serves 4)

  • 4 Pork Loin Steaks
  • 3 tsp Minced Garlic
  • 1 Tbsp Butter
  • 1/4C Honey
  • 1/4C Water
  • 2 Tbsp White Wine Vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp Olive oil
  • 2 Tbsp Fresh parsley

Method

  1. Heat oil in a pan over medium high. Sear pork loin steaks on both sides until golden and cooked through. Remove from pan; set aside.
  2. Place pan back on heat, add butter scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan. Add garlic, cook until fragrant . Add the honey, water and vinegar. Increase the heat to high and cook until the sauce reduces down and thickens.
  3. Return the cooked pork to the pan and baste generously with the sauce for 1-2 minutes. Add freshly chopped parsley.
  4. Serve with mashed sweet potato and steamed greens (broccolini/ peas and/or green beans)

Notes

You could try this with chicken or fish!
