Ingredients (serves 12)

  • 1 cup Red Bean paste
  • 300gm Plain flour
  • 2 tsp Yeast
  • 165mL warm water

Method

  1. Mix the yeast with the water. Mix well and set aside for around 5 minutes.
  2. Put the flour in a large bowl. Pour the water with yeast slowly to the bowl with flour and stir. Then knead the flour into smooth and soft dough.
  3. Cover the bowl and let the dough rest for around 1 hour.
  4. Divide the dough into about the size of a golfball. Press flat and scoop sweet bean paste in the middle and wrap up. Bring the water in wok to boil and then steam the buns for 15 minutes.
