A delicious and quick rice pudding made in the Philips All-In-One Cooker.

Ingredients (serves 4)

  • 1 cup arborio rice
  • 1/2 cup caster sugar
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 1/2 cup cream
  • 1 vanilla bean, split
  • 1/4 tspn cinnamon
  • 1 orange (zest only)
  • 1/4 cup sultanas

Method

  1. In the bowl of the Philips All-in-One Cooker add the rice, caster sugar, vanilla bean, milk, cream, cinammon and orange zest.
  2. Close the lid. Select Risotto program in the pressure cooking and press start.
  3. Once cooking time has finished, release pressure, remove lid and stir through sultanas.
  4. The rice pudding may appear slightly runny, however it will thicken upon standing.

  • My kids love rice pudding. I never add sugar to the rice pudding, just a wee spoon of raw honey before serving. The cinnamon and vanilla bean also give already a beautiful sweet taste.
