A healthy porridge recipe using natural sugars, ready to have when you wake up as it cooks while you sleep.
Ingredients (serves 4)
- 2 cups oats
- 1/4 cup coconut sugar
- 2 cups water
- 2 cups milk of choice
- 1tsp cinnamon
- 1 apples, sliced
Method
- Put all ingredients into a slow cooker (I used the Philips All-In-One Cooker).
- Set time for 8-9 hours on 'Slow Cook'. This can be done before you go to bed, so that when you wake up it will be ready.
- Once finished give it a mix add more milk if needed. Enjoy!
