Yes you read it right! Brownie in a slow cooker! I make them in the morning so I can have them for dessert in the afternoon and evening 😛
Ingredients (makes 14 )
- 1 1/4 cup Plain Flour
- 250gm Melting chocolate
- 1/4 cup Cocoa powder
- 120gm Butter
- 1 or 1/2 cup Sugar
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 cup Walnuts
- 1/2 cup Chocolate chips
- 3 eggs (lightly beaten)
Method
- In a slow cooker, spray some cooking oil around. Place baking paper inside and spray more oil. This prevents it from burning on the side.
- In a bowl, whisk together cocoa, flour, baking soda and salt. In another bowl, put in melting chocolate and butter and melt in microwave for about 1 minute. Add in sugar and stir well.
- Add in egg and the flour mixture. Lastly walnuts. combine well with a spatula but do not over mix them or they get less moist.
- Pour mixture in the slow cooker and cook for 4 hours on low.
- When it is done, it will seem uncooked but let chill for 2 hours inside the cooker and it will be perfect!
Notes
However, this recipe is only for those who are patience... If you are a crazy chocolate lover, you might wanna use the oven :P
