Ingredients (serves 5)

  • 4 Cups Rice of your choosing (I use short grain)
  • 6 rashers bacon
  • 2 chicken breast
  • 3 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 Whisked egg
  • 1/2 Cup Peas and corn
  • 1 Tbsp Minced Garlic

Method

  1. Start by cooking your rice (I use a rice cooker and peas and corn. Prepare the chicken by slicing into thin strips. Fry off the bacon and slice. Fry the egg and then break into small pieces. Fry off the chicken with the minced garlic - cook until golden.
  2. Heat all ingredients through with soy sauce. Serve!

  • This one is always a sure fire hit with my fussy kids!! They tend to make a huge mess with rice dishes though, so I generally make it a bit stickier by adding a bit more soy or some abc sauce. Yum!
