A lovely banana dessert with no added sugar. A healthy low fat sweet treat or dessert for everyone.

Ingredients (serves 1)

  • 1 Banana (ripe is best), chopped into 3cm chunks, then frozen
  • 2 Tbsp Milk (can use Breast or Formula milk for baby/toddler)
  • Optional: 1 Tbsp chocolate chips, peanut butter, cinnamon, frozen berries

Method

  1. Blend frozen banana and milk together to create a smooth consistency (you might need to add more milk depends on how big the banana is).
  2. Serve and enjoy.

  • Super healthy and refreshing with the weather warming up

  • Leaving it a bit chunky it’d probably workfor older kids too.

  • I make this version for my son.
For my daughter I place a can of coconut milk in the fridge and spoon the fat from the top into the mixture before processing and it gives it a lovely taste.
