Ingredients (serves 6)

  • 4 Tablespoons Margarine or butter
  • 4 Tablespoons Plain Flour
  • 1 cup milk

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 180°Celsius.
  2. Cook pasta and let it drain.
  3. Melt butter and stir in flour.

  • Um… it’s a tuna mornay with no tuna? I’m sorry but this is a very strange recipe. I assume there was an “accident” of some kind and it got approved/ printed by accident, but that doesn’t give you a lot of confidence in the other recipes. You’d hope someone at least read them.

  • Hmmm, I’m thinking there’s a number of ingredients missing here. Eg surely there should be tuna somewhere

  • I’m guessing you then add the milk to make white sauce. Then mix in the tuna and cooked pasta? Maybe add some corn or pineapple then top with cheese/breadcrumbs and bake in the oven. Yum!

  • I made a Tuna Mornay for dinner yesterday. Everyone loved it. It is a really tasty dish. And so cheap to make. :-)

  • This would also be nice with peas, corn or capsicum. I’m going to try this one, it looks nice & easy, & yum!
