Here’s how the ABC Reading Eggs Product Review will work

In the ABC Reading Eggs Review, MoM Members with children or grandchildren aged from 3 to 7 years of age will trial and review. MoM Members who have not yet trialed or subscribed to ABC Reading Eggs are eligible to signup for a free 30-day trial to ABC Reading Eggs through a unique URL (in order to participate, you must be a new customer of ABC Reading Eggs and never had an account prior to this review). We’ll then ask selected mums to commit to using ABC Reading Eggs for 15 minutes a day for at least 5 days before posting their reviews.

    I’m so happy to have this app my daughters can use rather than watching mind numbing nonsense on YouTube.

  • Love ABC Reading Eggs - kids find it fun

    My pre-kindy 5 year old has been using ABC Reading Eggs for a while now and really enjoys it. The images and games are really creative and keep his attention. He feels good when he gets things right. There’s also a part called mathseeds which he really enjoys too. He is able to read and do maths before going to school which has him in a really good position. He is not forced, he was ready to learn and really enjoys it.

  • Love Reading Eggs

    We discovered Reading Eggs during the first lockdown. It has been a great way to get our 6 year old to do reading, phonics, and math. Our 4 year old also started when he wanted to do school work like his big brother. He loves it and has learned so much. The fact that they can earn rewards for doing levels and then use those rewards to access short games makes them both want to learn. It’s great and gives me time to have a few moments of quiet once in a while.

  • Brilliant Educational Program

    For me ABC Reading Eggs has been a blessing. Its a fantastic program that teaches your child to read. My son Hayden is in kindy this year and his teacher told us that Hayden was struggling with recognising and sounding out certain letters. My partner and I wanted to help him, and ABC Reading Egg’s has worked wonders.

    ABC Reading Eggs is a fun and easy way for children to learn to read. Its bright and interactive to keep little minds interested. Hayden loved ABC Reading Eggs from the first moment he tried it. Leaning but also playing at the same time, kept Hayden engaged and wanting to do more.

    When Hayden finishes a lesson level, I get an email on his progress and what he has learnt. This is a great way for me to know what sounds, letters or words he has been learning. There is also a more detailed progress report you can see in the app.

    The app is super easy to use and can be used not only on your tablet or phone but you can also use it on your PC. Hayden had no problems navigating and completing lessons. Hayden loved going from lesson to lesson on the map and seeing some of the fun, loveable characters he was about to meet.

    After using ABC Reading Eggs Hayden can now easily identify all the letters of the alphabet and sound most of them out. I’ve seen an improvement in his reading. He is more confident and loves reading more since starting ABC Reading Eggs.

    ABC Reading Eggs also allows you for trial it for 30 days, for free. I’m sure after the 30 days is up, you will be happy to pay for such a brilliant educational program. Thank you ABC Reading Eggs for helping my son. Because we are so happy with Reading Eggs, we have already paid for a yearly subscription.   • Love all the books and activities!

    My 3 year old loves reading eggs and sees it as a real treat. Perfect when you’re out. We used it this morning while at a cafe and kept her happy while we were waiting. She read a book, played matching games and more. I love that it’s fun and educational for her and there is so much to explore. We’ve bought a year subscription already.

    45 days and going strong… Aayaan has now used the ABC reading eggs app for 45 days and I love that he enjoys it so much.
    His favourite part these days is the Library section, where he can choose which book he wants to read and then answer some quiz questions… How cool is that? My video gives a walkthrough of the library section today.

  • A fantastic tool for fun learning

    I was so happy after using the trial for Reading Eggs that I subscribed for the year. My 3 year old daughter sees playing it as a fun reward and has learnt from reading the stories on there, tracing the alphabet to learn her letters, matching shapes and colours and so much more. I’ve been so impressed with how easy it was to use. It’s been brilliant in the car when it’s a long drive, she’s entertained and I feel happy knowing she’s learning and doing something productive. Its teaching her computer skills as well which is important today. I love all the different games and sounds and also love the math seeds program too. There is so much there for her to learn that she will never get bored. I’ve already told all my friends to give a trial a go, it’s been brilliant for us already and have bought the year subscription. I can see it continuing to be a great learning tool for her for years to come.

  • Loving Reading Eggs

    I purchased Reading Eggs for my 2 year old after doing the 1 mth free trial. I wanted something that was positive screen time that would also be educational. Her colour recognition has improved and she loves the puzzles and picture matching games on there. She also has much better recognition of items and colours in her physical books and I have noticed she spends more time looking through her books than ever before and showing me what is in them

  • AMAZING!

    When we went into lock down for the first time last year, my Daughter, who was in Kindy/Prep at the time, was given a code to access Reading Eggs for Homeschooling and it was AMAZING! It’s such a resourceful program, it’s bright, happy and extremely attractive to young minds, it’s also super easy to use. The content is fun and engaging, so much so that my Daughter is quite happy to do her “School work”. Here we are again, in lock down number 2, Year/Grade 1, Home-schooled once again and YES! We have Reading Eggs, but this time our 3 year old is taking more of an interest, so we brought a Subscription to the Junior version for her and she can’t get enough. Reading Eggs makes reading fun and it teaches them the skills they need to make it exactly that, fun and something they’ll want to do.

    Our 4 year old son has had a lot of fun using Reading Eggs so far. His letter recognition has certainly improved and I can see with further use he will develop his reading skills even more. The only criticism I have of the program is that it is clearly designed for a tablet rather than a PC. My son used the program on a PC and as he didn’t have any experience with using a mouse before, there were some challenges in certain parts of the program as he had the right answer but couldn’t get the mouse to go where he wanted it to. On the other hand, he has now learnt how to use the computer mouse quite well, so it’s an additional skill he has learnt which is a bonus. Look forward to trying out the Mathseeds section with him next!

  • Still going!

    It’s been just over a month since we started trialling this program with my daughter and at least a few weeks now since my initial review on MoMs site with how we found it at the beginning. Now that my daughter has found her groove and can navigate the program with her eyes closed, I am impressed that the activities are still keeping her entertained and she hasn’t lost interest. I’ve definitely noticed big improvements on her learning journey, she’s more confident and can problem solve a lot better now! Thank you for the wonderful program, it makes me confident we made a good choice and making screen time worth every moment.

  • Learning whilst playing

    My 3 year old daughter loves playing Reading Eggs, and I love that she is actually learning whilst playing. She loves choosing which activity to do or which video to watch. I am definitely seeing the difference it has made over the last month, and look forward to using it with my son when the time comes as well.

  • Not just a game but educational!

    I loved that my child was learning while she thought she was playing “games” on her tablet! For 15 minutes each afternoon ! She loved learning the alphabet through song with all the different characters!
    Best of all she has learnt new words thanks to the e-book options!
    I also really enjoyed it because I could track her progress in real time and see where she needed a little help !

    ABC Reading Eggs is a fantastic product. My child absolutely loves it. He always asks morning and night about doing ABC Eggs. It is a very useful and educational product, There are so many different activities, books for reading, with such a selection.   • Wonderful growth

    I’ve seen a huge difference in Mr. 6 who now wants to read more. There was time he would run away from sitting and reading for more than a few mins.   • Amazing!

    Reading Eggs is one of the best – of not THE best – reading programs for young children. My toddler went from recognising only a few words to being able to recognise most letters and multiple small words in only two days of using the program. The best part? I didn’t have to force her to use it because she loved using it and considers it her ‘reading game’!
    It’s easy to understand and while it’s best to use the program with your child to help them learn, it is very ‘set and forget’ if needed, meaning you can plonk an iPad in front of your child at the kitchen table or lounge and go do something else while they play. Excellent product!

    I’m so happy with the ABC reading eggs app , with the improvement my son has shown in basic English and the puzzles. He loves maths and is always excited to see what’s new now for him to explore.   • Kids just love it

    Most kids these days spend lots of time on computers, ipads, tablets, lap tops etc So why not give them something to do, see, watch, participate and learn? I know I’d prefer screen time be educational, with ABC reading eggs, it’s educational and fun. I’ve never seen my grandson, and all his friends be so absorbed in an educational program. It’s just amazing. I highly recommend to everyone with or who knows families with pre school age kids. It’s just so invaluable

  • Best reading tool hands down

    Our family loves reading eggs. Such an amazing tool, so many levels and it keeps my daughter entertained. She loves collecting the eggs.

    Such a great process the test at the beginning, it means she can stop and then come back at a later stage and be tested again and not have to start at the beginning.

    The Australian voice means it’s easy for her to understand. The app is intuitive and she needs no help. I love how it emails her progress as she goes along.

    My son enjoyed it on his tablet good to use in the car for long trips..Keeps him busy and not bored!

  • Great interactive learning tool

    Reading egg is a great app that has allowed my kids to keep themselves entertained during lockdown and they have lots of fun learning. It has different levels games from 2 to 13 year olds. It also has a maths section that i really enjoy for my little one. I would recommend to all mums with kids.

Whether you’re a seasoned or first-time mum, protecting your baby’s delicate skin is right up there on the priorities list. Because when their skin is irritation-free, it really does make for a happier bub! Anyone who’s had to deal with nappy rash (me included!) knows it’s an inescapable mum truth.

Having skin irritation as an adult is super distracting and annoying. So just imagine what that’s like for our teeny babies and toddlers, who need to focus on sleep, eat and play. No wonder they can be so upset when they have nappy rash.

One thing you do need to ditch when it comes to nappy rash is mum guilt. It happens despite our best efforts. But it is helpful if you can get ahead of the game by doing as much as you can to try and prevent nappy rash in the first place.
