 FANCY DRESS IDEAS

  • I am a bit sad I haven’t had to cover books at all since my daughter has been at school. I did print out fancy name tags and labels but that’s as far as I went….however I do decorate my own and my Mum made me an awesome patchwork notebook cover 🙂

  • So many lovely ideas… I’m already dreading the wrestle with the contact! I love getting the kids to keep their old birthday cards and cutting out their favourite pictures. We then glue on and contact over with clear.

    • This year we found some book covers they just slip on, so much easier than contact paper.

  • My kids liked to cover their books in good quality Aluminium foil (as they liked Silver books).
We would then cover with contact.
My little sister use to ask Mum to cover her books in chicken paper (Alfoil.)

  • I love adding stickers, posters etc to my kids books. I loved it when I went to school and they love adding their favorite pictures and things they find in magazines. Also love the plastic covers as I used to use clear contact over them before.

  • I have never actually thought to personalise my children’s school books, probably because we don’t know what we need until school has started and then we don’t have time. But I might just have to make some time, with so many fun ideas to try out!
