16wks heartbreak

When we fell pregnant with our third child, it was totally unexpected. I was on the pill and we were totally not ready to welcome another bundle into the brood. My other children were 3 & 1.5 when we found out. Yep, I would’ve had 3 under 3!
However we soon grew accustom to the fact we were going to ‘fill’ up the car with little people afterall there was not much we could fo about it now and loved the fact everything was going so smooth, no morning sickness or anything. Best pregnancy by far.
That was until boxing day 2013 when I went to the toilet at my in-laws house and found blood in my undies.
We were back and forth to the hospital fir the next 4 days and were given the sad sad news of losing our little bump at 16wks. 6mths to the day of its dues date!!

Im still unsure whether we will take the leap again for bub no. 3 as Im so scared of the process reoccurring and I don’t believe I can handle the heartbreak and sadness of it all!

I’m so sorry for you loss. There are no words.
That would be a really tough decision. Deciding if you do try again for a third and also deciding if you could handle the worries of a miscarriage again. All the best either way. And thank you for sharing your story. Miscarriage is a hard one to talk about sometimes.

That’s so sad. I’m so sorry for you. I lost my twins too. This was in 2003, such a long time ago. I think one part of my heart went away with them.
