A lovely start to 2015 - Real Mum story on MoM

What a wonderful start to the new year! I woke up with no hangover, my husband made me breakfast in bed and the kids had a sleep in! We then had a great walk along the beach and a little potter about in the garden. Maybe I might get to read my book in the afternoon and have takeaways for dinner to round out a lovely start to 2015!

That sounds lovely. Total opposite to how my day started…..cleaning up after my daughter’s New Years Eve party. Could not quite believe the mess left by 25 19yos. You might wonder why she didn’t clean up…she was off to work at 9 am this morning after getting to bed at 3am! She had asked us to leave the mess and she would clean it after work, but it really couldn’t wait. She appreciated her dad’s and my help when she got home and had a good time last night, safe and sound at home so really a great big mess is not too much to complain about. Maybe I’ll get brekkie in bed tomorrow????

    Thanks, didn’t happen! But had a lovely breakfast, (cooked by me) and then a beautiful walk at the beach with hubby and the dog. Great day so far!
