Hello!

I a few weeks back shared with you all of my excitement expecting our third baby, I then updated everyone as I had fallen ill struck down by severe morning sickness, and swine flu as well as gastro and food poisoning all that lead upto my first ultrasound. During which I was informed there was no heartbeat despite growth measuring perfect :( heartbroken I headed home to “mis carry” naturally at home. Weeks passed and I felt no loss, no pain, no blood, to hard to come to terms with following another scan there was still no heartbeat and no sign that I will mis carry naturally. I travelled 100ks to my nearest “big” hospital to have a d&c. Now I can come to terms with my loss but would love for anyone whos been through this to share their story as I have never heard of this happening to anyone.

  • i had an early miscarriage (baby heartbeat stopped at 10weeks and i was supposed to be 13 weeks pregnant) i woke up to bleeding and went and got scanned and blood tests. it was very hard for me. you will never forget but you will move on. i fell pregnant again not long after that. i wrote my story here on the website to help others by telling my story, just like you have done. I am sorry for your loss and wish you the best in case you wish to try again.

  • I had to do the same, my little baby didn’t come naturally at 14 weeks (lost around 9 weeks we think) I had to go to hospital also. I cried for a few days, but do understand it is the bodies way letting us know that it just wasn’t right. Good luck I hope you fall pregnant again soon. xx
