Hello!

I love my two year old. She is an absolute delight. She is sweet and caring in general. Occasionally she will have a tantrum because things aren’t going her way, like all toddlers do. It can happen at home, it can happen while we are out. Sure I might get a bit flustered when it happens in the shops, but I never get embarrassed. Which is funny because I am a person who cares what people think of me.
I often hear other Mums say how embarrassed they are. I said to a mum at swimming this morning. Font be embarrassed, it happens to all of us. I said you handled it beautifully and remained calm. You are doing a fantastic job. She had the biggest smile on her face

  • No, why be embarrassed for done thing we all experience. I stayed with my parents when my 2 were 5 and 2. The 2 yo gad a tantrum and my dad was going to call welfare, before one of the neighbours did. Disappointing for me. And they wonder why I didn’t visit them much

  • if you yourself can remain calm I think it helps the situation in general.

  • Children do have tantrums and even some adults! ;) Staying calm is always best.

  • I think it depends how many tantrums you’ve endured. The first is the most embarrassing.
