Hello!

My daughter was surprised to be pregnant with her 3rd child. After weeks of worry about the baby having trisomy 18 we were finally relieved when genetics nurse did not want more tests done, that doctors were over reacting. At 24 weeks her placenta suddenly abrupt end, leaving our grandson in gods hands, and nearly taking our daughter as well. We were grateful my daughter survived, but so saddened at the tiny beautiful little boy we were handed. Bears of Hope still born and infant loss support was so very much welcomed at this heartbreaking time. After Bj’s funeral we have thrown ourselves into fundraising for this non profit organisation in Bj’s honour. Any donations would be very welcome to this worthy cause.

  • Having lost our first child half way through my pregnancy I know the pain of leaving the hospital with nothing but grief. It is wonderful that there is a number of organisations that help parents these days. Heartfelt is one close to heart that have photographers take photo’s for keepsakes of your angel.

  • I also am a Grandmother to a Grandson born with his angels wings and a Grandaughter also born with her angel wings and we celebrate their birthdays birthdays every year our Grandson was he turned 5 on the 24th of Feb and Our Grandaughter will be 2 in the 6th of December this year. They get there birthday balloons and butterfly’s every year and they have a special garden at home for anything you don’t want nicked or broken but also their brother the middle child know of his big Brother and little sister so when you go shopping with him and he see’s butterfly’s he ask for them for his Brother and Sister’s garden and when hr get home he put them in the garden and tells them that he loved them and bought them some presents. They also have engraved plaques on the two big wooden barrels in the gardens with their special roses in. It is really hard to see a Mother have to leave the hospital with only a blanket that a ladies group makes for angels babies which is a lovely idea and the blankets mean so much to the Mum’s as they have them on the babies while Mum is in hospital
