Hello!

I’ve been lucky enough to be able to work from home for the last two years with my baby, oops, now toddler. Its been great but my industry is experiencing a tough time and I’m not 100% sure my company will pull through. At first I was panicked and sad at the thought of having to ship my boy off to full time daycare, which is what will have to happen. But its ended up being a blessing in disguise. I now treasure every moment we’re together and take delight in the simplest things. Like sitting together on the back step shelling pistachios watching a bird dance on the fence. Sometimes I take things for granted and its nice to have a reminder to stop and appreciate them.

  • So true, We do take so much for granted, sometimes we need these little reminders of what is really important to us and that we need to take time out to just sit and play with our children :)
