Hello!

I am 37 and 6 months ago I had a big size baby girl, she weighed 11p2 (5.1kgs) via ceaserean. This time was my second baby but I only got to 25 weeks first time with my little miracle baby but it seems that my hips have still not gone back into place or something as I have terrible low back pain and hip pain. I have mentioned it to gp and he is a new one and not very good and only gp here but he just gave me script for pain killers and shrugged it off. The pain is horrible some days and it controls my mobility. I wonder is it normal? Could it be from the spinal block? Could it be arthritis? Just interetsed to know if any other mums have been through the same thing.

  • First I hope that your issues resolve themselves with relative ease.
Spinal blocks can cause issues sometimes or it could be healing pains, I took months to heal from my first C – Section.
I highly recommend seeing a physiotherapist, a chiropractor and a Naturopath or a combination of alternative therapists to aid in your treatment and recovery.

  • Something is definitely not right, get a second opinion.

  • Painkillers is not the answer. Get a second opinion or try a physio that specialies in ante natal care. I also had a lot of pain after the birth of my second and didn’t get help for ages and it really affected my ability to function at the time.
