There is really no need for big extravagant weddings these days my daughter just recently got married and only had less then 40 people it was a lovely wedding

All that matters is that there are 2 people who want to spend the rest of their lives together.. And they are surrounded by people who love them and wish them well for the future… So what if its not a lot spent on the big day as long as they are happy

My hub went to a BBQ wedding at the home of either the bride or groom ( cannot remember ) and said it was beautifully done . They decorated the house and made the backyard look stunning . That is the cheapest I have seen in real life. I rented my dress and didn’t regret it one bit .

I absolutely loved the one that the couple had at the old church. Its something similar to what I have in mind for my wedding. Its a great show to give people ideas on how to have a cheap wedding. I cant justify spending thousands and thousands on a wedding day but each to their own.

Sadly – I read an online article that was very cruel towards the people on the show. Such a shame to mock people. Well done to these couples – still think you did an amazing job on your weddings.

I’ve accidentally watched it a couple of times too. I think their ‘budget’ is higher then mine would be. When one of the women forked out for an unexpected wedding dress of over $2000 :0

  I spent under $1000 on my dress and its was beautiful. Hard to justify spending a lot of money on a dress, but it is a very individual choice.
