Babysitters??? - Real Mum story on MoM

I’m a single mum and rarely have anyone babysit my children due to them simply not wanting to mind them is anyone else in the same situation! I have my girls 24/7 and will be putting them into daycare in the next month now our money troubles are finally over after a long 4 months. I deserve a break just like everyone else. Ahhhh.
I don’t see the point in just getting a babysitter its just wasting money I can put away..

I don’t mind paying for a baby sitter as it is giving a friend or young person (all the checks done of course) some much needed money for themselves. I used to babysit while at university and I was so thankful for it as it gave me petrol to get to uni and allowed me to eat! Enjoy your me time when the kiddies are in care it does sound like you deserve it

It a good job you are doing and its great that you will be soon having a little free time on your hands when the kids are in daycare. Its amazing how much extra things you can get done around the place when you dont have kids following you around. Just make sure you make some ME time even if its just to sit down and read a good book and have a hot drink.

Do you mean it’s your friends or your babies that mind the babysitting? My friends don’t mind, but all have kids themselves, so I rarely like to ask.

When my children were little I used to have share time with my other friends who had children. It was a win win as the children had someone to play with and both myself and the other mum had a little bit of time to ourselves. We used to share the load and it didn’t cost either of us any money
