This week I was unfortunately reminded just how unpredictable and fragile life is. I was called into work to fill in for a fellow worker and close friend, when I got there I discovered that a close mutual friend had passed away the prior afternoon. At 5:30pm the world lost a special lady, two children lost their mum, a man lost his wife, the town lost a respected business owner and many lost a truely good friend. Aged just 42 suffering a heart attack at home alone, hitting her head as she fell found moments later by her partner.
I was reminded that at any moment life can be taken away, do we really need to waste energy and time on irrelevant issues, imagine being 17 and never being able to say I love you to your mum ever again, hard to think about but apart of life. I’ve realised whats important in life, making memories with family and friends, you never know when your breathing your last breathe and those special moments become treasured memories.
