Hello!

I noticed my 4 year son likes to play with toys at his mates place that he doesnt have a home. obviously interested in toys he has never played with before. So when he goes to a girl house, he goes to the dolls and plays with them in the dollhouse. people ask me why I let him..

seriously, why is that even a question?

He doesn’t see cars as “boys” toys and barbie as “girls” toys. so why should we condition our kids to think a certain toy is for a certain kid??

sorry just ranting.

  • My son loves playing with all the ‘girl’ toys at my mums house. I remember how much fun it was playing with my brothers toys when I was little and I’m not going to take that feeling away from him. He loves tea parties. He picks most of his toys for home though and its all lego and cars. I don’t understand how anyone would bother putting effort into caring what gender a toy is directed at.
