I’m actually not a fan of giving other kids a present just because someone else gets one. I think it’s the perfect learning experience that sometimes we don’t always get what someone else has. It takes away from the special birthday if every other child gets a present too. Their time will come and they will get a present on their own birthday and their sibling won’t. I’d encourage the joy that giving brings on someone else’s birthday and show it can be as much fun as receiving.
