Christmas is just around the corner again and I’m just a little bit excited this year! It will be the first year that my daughter will be old enough to be introduced to the idea of Santa and to be really involved in the day and know what is going on!

I absolutely can’t wait! Have been tempted to get the Christmas lights up but I’ve managed to calm myself down and will wait until the beginning of December when the tree goes up.

Most of the presents are bought and it’s now just a matter of waiting patiently for Christmas to come!

Children certainly bring back the magic of Christmas for you

I am returning back to more handmade presents. My parents and in-laws are both retired and impossible to buy for. Instead of spending a lot of money on their presents I am making them a photo calendar with lots of pictures of their grand-daughter. It will cost around $20. My brother and I usually exchange cards with money but this year we’ve going to try to find each other the funniest Christmas card we can (instead of giving each other the same amount of money). Kids are different, but for the adults I am doing the calendars and baked/home made goodies/treats.
