Christmas is coming! - Real Mum story on MoM

I saw the first posting of how many weeks until Christmas and I must admit I got a little excited – Christmas is coming! With grown up children some of the magic had gone out of Christmas. I still loved it but something was missing. Now I have a grand daughter and I realise what the missing part was – the sheer joy and excitement of children as they see all of the lights, sing carols, feast and open presents. Their excitement truly is infectious

CHrIStmas has been and gone but not here. My grandson takes his fluffy toy santa to bed and plays with him still. The shops still have santa ornaments. Then easter stuff is out the day after christmas.

It is exciting but scary at the same time to think its almost upon us.
