I feared my mother, and lets just say I have nothing to do with her… Too easy on them, giving everything they want, risks being spoilt brats.

Oh dear, If a child fears the parents isn’t that called abuse ? . Yes kids should be disciplined but in a obstructive way so that they understand what’s right and wrong . You can be tough , but instilling fear is not right to me no matter what anyone says .

If your girls are happy you keep doing what you are doing I believe to let kids be kids at same time they need rules and boundries

you get that from the older parents and I am an older parent but I give my advice but than it is up to my children to do with it as they want after all they are the ones that have to live with the child/children daily and can’t give them back. We have at Nanny’s house when they stay it’s Nanny’s way as we have one for 3 day on a fortnightly basis As long as they are happy and thriving than it is the right way
