I have used it with pasta; pretty good taste.

I’ve used cottage cheese in chicken pies – leftover chicken, veggies, cottage cheese etc all mixed together and wrapped in pastry – great way to clean out the fridge.

    That sounds like a good idea. I hate wasting food and we are on a budget. This is a grea tip.

A family favourite is my beef lasagne made with minced meat (that has been cooked as a bolognaise & cooled). Place layer of the meat sauce in large baking dish then sheets of instant lasagne, then dollops of cottage cheese, then handful of grated mozzarella cheese, then spoon over meat sauce & sprinkle with parmesan. Repeat the layers 2 more times & bake until hot & bubbling!

  Oh Yum that sounds really nice. We love lasagne in our house. That sounds a bit easier then bechamel sauce!

I sometimes use cottage cheese in place of ricotta…usually works!

Have you considered going to a recipe website? Many of them have a function where you can enter an ingredient or ingredients and the website will spit out a list of recipe options using that ingredient.

  I did try that but alot of them come up with cheese like any type of cheese.
  I found this cottage cheese loaf which looked interesting. Might give it a go. It had oats in it.
