look i know! no funding and the staff do not give 2 %#$@’s! i know that the system needs to be re-hauled. these people SHOULD be compassionate to people coming TO HOSPITAL who are full of mixed emotions. No-one wants to be treated like they don’t matter!. Especially a little child who is not sure what is happening!

There are complaints forms and sometimes this is a positive way to get things changed and to get responses.

Regional and remote hospitals are always struggling to find suitable and experienced staff – it’s such a big problem. Tragically, your problem is way to common. More people need to speak up to help highlight and solve this problem – doing do is so hard though as you don’t want to make a bad problem worse. Have you approached your local politician?

Have you discussed this with a senior member of the hospital? Maybe talk to someone in management for a response or make a time to discuss your concerns.

That is not good for you! Unfortunately, government funding is probably impacting all hospitals, rural ones are most likely hit harder. They’re probably understaffed, the nurses working double shifts and getting tired and cranky. Although, that’s not really a good enough excuse for letting patient care lack, especially for kids
