Hello!

When my daughter is really ill, she will lie quietly and be clingy. I don’t need a thermometer or a doctor, I know that she is ill when …. she refuses medicine.

When she is relatively well, with a small sniffle or knock to her limbs, she will demand medicine – and Bandaids. When I tell her that medicine is not a toy and she doesn’t get to decide when and what she takes, her voice will become stuffy and she will cough and ‘have to lie down mummy, my head is sore’.

Right now, this is all very entertaining. I wonder what the future holds. A pharmacy degree? A hypochondriac? A normal well adjusted child? Most likely the latter but you can’t help but wonder…

  • They are cute at when they are younger and it’s amazing what a bandaid can fix :)
