My partner and I have 2 dogs.the first one, my partner has had for years before he met me. The other my partner bought for me when we moved in 7 years ago so his dog wouldnt be lonely. 4 years ago our kid was born. Somehow along the way my dog has turned into my childs dog and its adorable. They have adventures in the backyard together and the other old dog joins in when she feels like it. My dog is a kelpie x bluey and its amazing how much dogs look after and stand in front of your child when a stranger (in the dogs eyes) approaches and I know my dog will always be there for my son and my kids bestfriend. My partner said i looked jealous the other day when I was watching my dog and my son play together in the backyard the other day, but I find it awesome!

Our old boy was exactly the same. Where ever the kids were,mths dog was too. They have had many adventures together, I knew they were always safe with him. He’s nearly 14 and not in the best of health, which saddens us all
