Feeling stoked - Real Mum story on MoM

I ran into my midwife a few weeks ago and it was lovely to learn that she was now pregnant( my son is now 12 months). I had a real connection with her and thought she was amazing. My first labour wasn’t very good so I was determined to do things differently with my second. Sorry off track. When I ran into her she told me that she was glad to run into me because she had been telling everyone about this amazing mother who just breathed through her entire labour and was determined to be like me as it was a beautiful labour. I feel so special that she has even remembered me out of all the babies she delivers and am stoked that I have inspired her. Thanks for letting me share it felt really nice to know that she had connected with me also and I really hope she has an amazing delivery . Xx

That’s lovely….it’s great when you connect with someone and it is a win win. I try to do that every day at work and it is sometimes as simple as a kind word. I have met some great people that way and it makes my day and hopefully theirs better!
