It’s amazing much we take for granted in life! My husband and I have always had our own home and busted our butts over the years to set up a stable life for our future children. Few weeks after having our second son last year we sold our home and made the journey from gold coast to North Queensland for hubbies work.
Within that month we couldn’t find a home to rent or buy. Rentals you fight with 10 other people for a really awful home. To buy is stupidly over priced. My husbands job didn’t work out so we made a hasty retreat back to southeast qld. For 8 months we have been in temporary accommodation which has been hard for the boys as no routine ever came back into our life. 3 Days ago we we lucky to receive keys to a house we designed. Finally my boys have their own rooms, a backyard and somewhere stable to call their own.
Now to sit back and watch them thrive and be happy
