other FIFO and DIDO wives would sympathize with me that the first day SUCKS!!! Hubby works DIDO on an 8&6 swing. His R&R just went by way to fast. he was meant to be on nightshift this swing so we thought he wouldn’t have to leave till later in the day today, but he got a call this morning asking him to do days, so he had to get up, dressed and leave all within 30 minutes of the phone call. I was going to make him his fave Thai pumpkin soup for lunch before he left 
The first day is always the worst, and the longest. once i though this day its ok but i miss him so much already.
