  • Ahhh the joys of daycare!!! My 4yo started going to Kindy at the beginning of the year (was 3 at the time), and he was barely saying anything, and when he did he had a terrible lisp), now coming up to the end of the year, he is now talking and without such a predominant lisp. It truly is amazing what early learning can help them with!!

  • This is very cute! When they want to talk they will, as a childcare worker, we sometimes get kids that don’t talk until 4 and then BOOM full sentences, it’s all a matter of time.

  • That’s lovely. Now that she has started, she’ll probably take off. I don’t know if you do this but reading to her will help her too. My little one learnt to read before she started school just by listening to her older sister read her reader every day. We were so surprised as she used to sit there quietly while her sister practised her reading. We called it story time. After the reader I would read them both a book. I was so surprised when she started prep and her teacher asked me did I know she could read?

  • little ones are surprising little people and can pick up something so fast than they just take off. It won’t be long and you will be getting more and more surprises by what she will be getting up to. Just treasure every moment good and naughty ones

    • Thank you
I am extremely surprised today! I got a photo from the daycare lady, I will attach it to show you
She is only 2 and the daycare lady said she has never seen anything like it!
We don’t know how she learnt to do it
