Hello!

On our walk to kindergarten my son & I were discussing his item he was showing as it was show & tell morning. I mentioned it s called a life jacket, but the proper name is a buoyancy vest. He replied ever so sweetly with ‘So girls have girlancy vests’, have to admit it made me giggle & I couldn’t resist picking him up, squeezing him tight & planting a big sloppy kiss on his cheek. Me actually said the same thing during show & tell, this made all the adults laugh so became a discussion about buoyancy vests which lasted a good 20 minutes as it made sense to the children….

  • It reminded me of my sons first show and tell……he forgot his item so as he stood there in front o the class you could almost see his mind working before he pulled down his shorts to the knee and proudly showed the class his new Ninja Turtle underpants!

  • An interesting item for show and tell. Is there a special reason as to why your child chose a buoyancy vest? Kids amaze me with the items they choose for show and tell. I remember one child bringing in a box which contained a real snake! It was a small python! My heart skipped a few beats!

    • oh yeah that is an interesting thing to take
