Hmmmm grief - Real Mum story on MoM

Well this is a sad story yesterday my grandma died she was my last living grandparent. So needless to say my house has been full of tears. While I have tried to stay strong for my 4 children it has been very hard . My 4 & 6 year olds never met her in person but she used to knit and she had knitted them all an animal they were still upset but my eldest 2 (8 and 12 years olds) have met her and do remember her and are extremely upset we were sitting together last night sharing memories when my very insightful 8 year old days mum we should not cry coz we miss her instead we should be happy coz she’s not sick anymore (she had liver cancer) she’s all better now I love the way that he has positive spin on it

I lost Grandpa on the same day. Maybe they will meet at the pearly gates.

I am so sorry for your loss. To lose a grandparent I feel is losing part of my childhood so I understand your pain. Your child sounds like a real sweetie with a good heart xxx
