at the age of 16 being homeless and living between friends houses I met my first love he had a daughter 3 at the time he was a single dad, mum was not in the picture and chose not too be, we had a daughter together and I raised the both girls as my own! Unfortunately we didn’t have a lasting relationship we lasted 7yrs and grew apart, I was pretty lost but I kept up the mother role and had access visits, and my lovely step daughter turns 18 in a month and she is just about too finish yr 12 and head off too uni next year.
Luckily when I was 24 I met another man (my fiancé now) he has 2 children from a previous relationship and was a single dad with the same story mum wasn’t interested so I look after these two wonderful children as my own and my daughter lives with us full time, me and my present partner have two children together planned and a lovely surprise so there is 5 all up and one whom doesn’t live with us full time.. I think I am so blessed too have been able too be apart of so many lives that needed that something missing, I am blessed too have a art ear whom has taken in my daughter as his own and that our family is such a happy family you would never pick that we are blended family
all these children have given me so much joy, I love being a mum
