I love taking in animals that have no forever home. I have to be careful that i dont overdo it with numbers. Theres feed bedding. Treats. Etc thats without oats, barley and carrots. My grandson had rabbits that the granchildren thought they could be better off at grandmas. What do you like with children and two year olds

  • I agree .A friend of mine used to have six cats because someone in her street knew that and left her with a kitten twice outside her house and she felt sorry for them and took them in . She now only has 4 but she wont take them again as it is too much for her so its important not to dump them at someone’s doorstep just because you can’t take care of your own pet .

  • Yes indeed! Its good to know there are people out there like you who take in animals in need I think so too!

  • Too cute! I wish we had more room to offer the same but I’m thankful people like you exist right now to save the lives of some animals right now =)

  • Its good to know there are people out there like you who take in animals in need, I took in a kitten once when I moved into my house, we named him Casper on account of him being white, he ended up being a street cat, in the whole street looked after him, two years ago he went missing, we have not seen him since, we all know he probably passed away and are upset.

  • It’s sad when people get sick of their animals or suddenly find that they have no time or have better things to do than to care for their pets. There is nothing worse than hearing people say we don’t have time for him/her because we got a Baby… You don’t dump your first born into the backyard when you have your second! Don’t do it to your dog!

  • It is good to know that there are still some caring people out there like yourself who will pick up the pieces of others. we had a guinea pig when we were young.

    • Found a home for two guinea pigs this week. They settled in quiet well. They even have other guinea pigs to play with. Cute

  • Sad that there are so many animals in need of rescuing but at least there are people like yourself willing to do what they can. It’s strange but I think the animals even appreciate it. They KNOW they’ve been saved from a worse fate, or at least that’s the impression the rats I’ve adopted in the past gave. Or maybe it’s just because they’re spoiled rotten

    • Great not all people take in rats. My friend use to have rats.

  • It’s fantastic that you do that. The respect you have for animals, shows how kind your heart is! :-)

  • Good for you. It sad when people regime aanimals and even sadder to hear the excuses

    • Some of the excuses could be prevented. I dont like giving people an animal in a rental property as they sometimes do not get a pet lease or they are not allowed a pet at another property. Then again some councils put restrictions on certain animals in certain areas. The vet bills are high especially for desexing too

  • yeah that is a great thing that you do as long as you don’t get taken for granted.

    • I agree; don’t get overloaded because you have a generous and caring heart. People do need to take their responsibilities seriously. Can you imagine being a pet and being given away-breaks my heart! :( Again, good on you! :)

  • It makes me sad that owners of pets-which become family members do not have forever homes. :( Owning a pet is a big responsibility and should be taken seriously. Animals are not disposable once they have grown from cute and little to big and boisterous. Good on you for taking in animals and giving them a second chance at a forever home. :)

    • I agree. Many people don’t take responsibility for their animals.

  • It’s kind of you to do this.
