My youngest son has always been full of energy and has ADHD so is always on the go.I thought he had a cold so took him to the doctors at this stage he was still running around at 100 miles an hour it turned out he had phemonia the doctor was amazed as my little man was so sick but you wouldn’t know because he never stopped .We had a cupboard in the kitchen that we kept locked with a key and all our medication was kept here we thought this was being safe .No it wasn’t.Little man was nit full of energy in the morning I thought this is unusual maybe he is feeling the effects of his phemonia.walked into the kitchen and the cupboard was opened .rushed up to the doctors and when I walked in and he was just laying still in my arms the doctor didn’t waiste any time We were sent of to the nearest hospital which was 1 hour away .My husband left work to drive us.My son was OK spent the night in hospital was guven a drip but recovered Ok .So accidents do happen even with the best precautions.so if this happens to you don’t blame yourself as it’s no ones fault.Always remember safety first .We wern’t sure how the cupboard was opened but we didn’t leave the key on top of the cupboard any more.
