My girl, my darling little baby girl. Who would have thought the years could pass so quickly. My eldest is about to turn 18 in the new year. We are busy making plans to celebrate the milestone and I find myself so excited about it all. I would have expected to have reservations about the whole thing, but part of me is feeling liberated by the event. I had her when I was 19, so maybe thats why I feel this way. I am so happy that I have been able to show her the way in life so far. I hope that she continues to seek my advice, support and friendship. Besides, I’ll always be her mum.

Such a big milestone be proud of your little girl as I’m sure you are, young mums can be amazing mums too. I’m excited to see the man that my son will one day be.
