Hello!

Being a single mum, raising my daughter entirely on my own (no emotional or financial help from her father), I find it so hard to find any ‘me’ time.

I love my daughter to the moon and beyond, but sometimes the littlest thing will make me want to pull my hair, curl up in a ball and scream.

I don’t even get the ‘luxury’ of using the toilet without interruptions.

Working & studying part-time by correspondence, and of course raising my girl doesn’t leave much time for anything….and counting my pennies means that a night out happens maybe once a year….twice if i’m lucky….a far cry from my pre-baby days………

BUT you know what, I wouldn’t have it any other way. My daughter is a gift that just keeps giving, and her smile, laughter, hugs, and the words “I love you mum, you’re the best mum ever” warms me from the inside out, and i know that’s she’s more than worth it
