I think this could go for so many things, horse racing is never going to stop, yes it was very sad that 2 horses died but I guess the owners know of the risks every time they enter their horses.

  It seems the main risk it to the poor horses.

It was sad but unfortunately it would be forgotten way too quickly.

Yes I feel the same as you. It’s really sad what happened this year.

It is so sad that 2 horses had to be put down

My first thought was a silly one. I remember Charlotte’s Web, and my first question to my children was how will the other animals in the barn would feel about it? Did the horses ever knew that their time will be up after they left the barn? One minute your there and the next minute you’re gone.

I think its very sad and cruel for the horses. Its all about money and the wellbeing of the horses is second to this.

  Totally agree. I have lived near two major racecourses and have never been, and have no desire to go to the races. Like you I’m glad some people find joy in watching it or the fashion etc, but for me it doesn’t do a thing.

No its not fair at all. but the cup race is alot safer than the horse jumps and other sports They Have for horses these days… it is very sad that these two beautiful horses passes. i think They should CHECK over all horses more than once before the race
