Hello!

Looking for an indoor outing with our three year old, we discussed the option of the movies. We have taken our daughter before, however she gets a bit scared of the confined and dark space. Once the movie starts she seems to settle and enjoy the movie. The most difficult part with a movie I find is picking a suitable one. Anyone have any suggestions or tips on taking toddlers to the movies, we are looking at Dispecable Me 2 and Monster’s University.

  • The cinema have specials sesson for mum and baby. It could be perfect for your toddlers.

    • That’s exactly what I was going to suggest.

  • Check out the mums and bubs sessions – i believe they leave the lights on dim so not so scary!

  • Talk about the outing and about lights being off etc before you go. Take a snack with you. If they get really scared- put them on your lap. Watch a trailer to see if you think it is suitable- every child is different :-)
