Never buy a glittery mobile phone case!!

I recently bought a glittery mobile phone case on ebay for my S5….it contains liquid which moves the glitter and stars around and caught my eye immediately. My daughter got one too for her iPhone but it started to leak within days.
We took it to the local phone cover stand at the shops and they were horrified we had bought one and they refuse to sell them.
Apparently they leak chemicals which can cause burns to the skin (and also ruin the phone). I did some Googling and indeed it is true….2nd degree burns!! Ouch

That sounds very cheap. A friend of mine like patterns and glitters on hers , but it is always external patterns , so maybe buy one of these instead. They are so pretty and she always looks glamourous when she takes out her phone as the case is very shiny and glittery , She laughs when I tell her that .

yes judging by the pic, that case is so pretty. the worse thing is that parents will buy this for their kids and might not think anything of it. If this is so dangerous, why do these things continue to be sold!

I’ve been hearing so much about these glittery cases and it’s horrible to think that I was going to buy one!!! Glad I steered clear!

Thanks for sharing. That’s unbelievable, they really should be taken off market but I guess it’s harder to enforce through online retailers.
