What is the correct thing to do? - Real Mum story on MoM

Recently it has happened twice to me and I am cross at the arrogance and ill mannered who do not wait their turn.

I am talking about patiently waiting with indicator on to park the car. Waiting for the person to reverse out of the space and then drive in and park. BUT out of no where a driver comes along and swoops into the now free space where I am waiting with indicator on and park their car.

What does one do?

First I press the horn to indicate that I am not invisible and yes I was waiting patiently for that space, and there is no response, so I press the horn again then they come out of the car and look at you as though you have 2 heads and they have no idea why you would be annoyed! What is wrong with these people?? I have been tempted to park behind them blocking them from coming out, however thought better of it as they would probably drive straight through my car not worrying about denting it. So I go off and circle a few more times waiting for another spot to come up.

But I cannot help but feel really annoyed afterwards and think what should have I done? In this day and age you cannot approach someone in fear that they would pull a knife or attack you in some way, so these sort of rude people get away with it, but what is the correct thing to do?

You can understand road rage sometimes can’t you? People can be so rude and impatient. I don’t get it, hopefully what goes around comes around ay

Yes, the roads are full of inconsiderate people nowadays. It can really start to eat you up if you’re not careful. I agree that approaching people isn’t probably the best course of action. When something like this happens to me, I just have to shake it off and hope that karma is real! If you hold onto the anger, the only person your hurting is yourself. It’s annoying, but what else can we do?
