Night out was inspiring... - Real Mum story on MoM

We had a night out this week and days later I am still so glad we went. It was a football fundraiser dinner and after buying tickets and paying babysitter it was turning out to be an expensive exercise and I admit I was wondering why we were bothering. There was a well known football coach who spoke and I was so thoroughly entertained and inspired by his talk. He spoke about commitment and how by commiting yourself to any aspect of your life that needed change you would do it. There was not a word spoken until he finished his talk, I came home energised if that makes any sense and glad that there are such wonderful men out there leading our sons to be better men. Sometimes we forget how important a strong and caring male figure can be.

That does sound like a great, inspiring night!! Although expenses can get in the way and weigh up whether or not to have a night out, most of the time we plan it because we really need it!!
So awesome to hear of a footy coach who is being an awesome role model!!
